We offer indoor and outdoor horse boarding. This includes twice-daily feeding, an evening security check, and storage for your trailer.
Fees for Horse Boarding
The fees for boarding with us are:
$510 indoor monthly board
$410 outside single monthly board
$365 outside shared monthly board
$60 hay surcharge (may vary as circumstances allow)
$20 monthly for additional LTRA supplied feed
$30 overnight indoor stall if not a boarder
$10 overnight indoor stall if already a boarder
$20 to store a second trailer, pending available space and LTRA approval
We require our horse boarding customers to sign a boarding contract and to follow our rules and regulations. All shots and deworming must be up to date with health papers from a vet. A complete list of required shots can be obtained from the office.
This year's hay crop has been very poor which is significantly affecting the quality, availability, and price of hay. We have been very fortunate in having a very supportive relationship with a hay supplier that can provide a steady supply of good quality hay that is suitable for our needs. Unfortunately, the price of hay has seen large increases that are proving to be a challenge for us in maintaining the business side of LTRA's operations.
Unfortunately, we have had to institute a hay surcharge. This is not something that any of us would have liked to have seen, and hopefully will be short-term with a good hay crop next year. The hay surcharge is per horse per month that is additional to the regular board fee. If you are paying for your board online through the Payments and Donations payment form the surcharge will be automatically applied as a separate line item in your payment.
