Boarding at LTRA
Support a Worthy Cause While Caring for Your Horse
Welcome to Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association (LTRA), a dedicated charity committed to providing transformative equine experiences for vulnerable youth and adults. By choosing to board your horse with us, you’re not only ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for your equine companion but also supporting our vital therapeutic programs.
Why Choose LTRA?
Charitable Mission: Offering boarding services to a select number of individuals helps us offset the costs of running our facilities which allows LTRA to deliver impactful therapeutic riding programs to those in need.
Supportive, No-Drama Environment: We pride ourselves on maintaining a kind, drama-free facility where both horses and owners can thrive in a relaxed, western-leaning atmosphere.
Basic Care Provided: LTRA is not a full-service barn but rest assured that essential care is taken care of (feed, water, salt, monitoring). Our boarding services are best suited to experienced hands-on horse owners wishing to directly manage specialized care of their animal outside of the core services provided by staff.
Our Facilities
Expansive Grounds: Spread across 48 acres, LTRA features a variety of pens, paddocks, dedicated riding pastures & turnout spaces.
Quality Housing: Choose from 31 outdoor pens or pasture board; all complete with shelters, automatic waterers, and clean feeding stations.
Indoor Amenities: Access our heated indoor riding arena, complete with washrooms and potable water, available beyond therapeutic programming and booked events.
Outdoor Riding Facilities: Enjoy our groomed outdoor arena with bleacher seating, a round pen, and an outdoor obstacle course.
