Horses for Healing and Health

LTRA offers a variety of inclusive programs and services including therapeutic riding, equine-facilitated wellness, and adaptive riding lessons to ensure that healing through horses remains accessible to all.

The Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association (LTRA) began in 1976 when a few volunteers offered instruction in riding and horse care to students with various disabilities.  The program has since grown to include many volunteers aiding more than 350 student visits each year.
