Expressive Arts Program
Join us this January for another round of Expressive Arts!
At the Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association, we believe in the power of combining the healing power of horses with creative expression. This program is more than an art class; it's an opportunity to connect, create, and celebrate the unique bond between humans and horses.

Expressive Arts Program
LTRA is excited to launch our Expressive Arts Program again! A one-of-a-kind creative experience that blends artistic expression with the calming, therapeutic presence of our equine partners. Beginning January 12th, this all-ages program invites participants to explore their creativity in a meaningful and memorable way.
An Accessible & Affordable Artistic Adventure
To ensure this opportunity is open to everyone, the full four-session program is offered at just $20.00 ($5 per session!). Our goal is to keep the program inclusive, welcoming, and financially accessible for all community members. That said, we never want cost to be a barrier and have subsidies available. If you would benefit from this service, please contact our People & Program Coordinator at [email protected]
Designed for All Abilities
The program will be led by Ryleigh, People & Program Coordinator, and Amanda, a board member and Master of Science in Recreation Therapy with extensive experience in community-based therapeutic programming. Every session is designed to accommodate participants of all mobility levels and abilities.
Experience Art With Horses!
Throughout the program, participants will engage in a variety of equine-inspired art activities, including horseshoe art, painting on a horse (weather permitting), and contributing to a special collaborative mural inside the Orange Barn Pass-Through. Each session offers a new way to create, connect, and explore alongside our remarkable horses.
Art Show With Family & Friends
The final session will conclude in a welcoming art show where participants can proudly display their creations. Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating the artwork and the creative journey behind it.
