Overview of Each Fundraising Event
This year's annual fundraiser is comprised of two events on consecutive days. The Murray Chevrolet Cadillac 'Boots, Buckles & BBQ' is being held at the LTRA arena on September 13th. The following day we will continue with the family-friendly 41st annual Joanne Perlich 'Ride4Dreams' Trail Ride taking place at Pavan Park.
Started as a grassroots program by Joanne Perlich and friends in 1976, LTRA has been dedicated to providing therapeutic riding services, changing lives, and bringing joy to those most in need. Our annual fundraise is an integral part of this journey, symbolizing the commitment of our community to this worthy cause.
We invite you to join our cause and participate in the:
Murray Chevrolet Cadillac 'Boots, Buckle s & BBQ' event on September 13th. Enjoy a live concert, mouth-watering BBQ, and a lively auction while contributing to LTRA’s continued mission. It's sure to be a fantastic time for a great cause!
Our celebrations continue on September 14th by getting back to our roots with the family-friendly Ride for Dreams Trail Ride. A staple of this fundraiser since it's inception, this event has participants collect pledges - sponsoring their participation in the ride in support of LTRA. Together, we’ll traverse beautiful landscapes, have fun, enjoy each other’s company, and ride for a reason; raising funds and awareness for the therapeutic services provided by LTRA.
Thank you for considering participating in, attending, or sponsoring these events. Every stride our horses take, every trail we traverse, is dedicated to the clients whose lives are positively impacted by LTRA’s services. Donations and the support of our community tremendously aid in the costs associated with the delivery of our therapeutic and equine wellness programming, acquiring needed supplies and equipment, maintaining our facility, and providing care for our animals that are utilized in the delivery of our therapeutic services and inclusive recreational programming.
Murray Chevrolet Cadillac 'Boots, Buckles & BBQ' | Sept 13th
Presented by Murray Chevrolet Cadillac, join us as we convert our arena to a concert venue complete with catered BBQ, a live auction, a bar cart, and plenty to do for both adults & kiddos.
Cocktail hour starts at 5:30pm which followed by a catered BBQ. Then it's time to put your boots to work for some 'Dancing in the Dirt' during the live concert which plays until 11:30pm!
While the ‘Boots, Buckles & BBQ’ event promises a full roster of activities, its core remains the support for the Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association. Each ticket, each dance step, each bid goes beyond the night's festivities. It's supporting the work of LTRA and our commitment to ensuring its continued impact on our clients. Join us not just for a night out, but to be part of a community that believes in the transformative power of therapeutic riding and equine facilitated wellness!
