A Milestone Year for a Signature LTRA Tradition

In 2026, the Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association is celebrating 50 years of connection, healing, and hope through horses. This milestone belongs to the entire LTRA community—the riders and families, volunteers, staff, board members, donors, sponsors, partners, and horses who have carried this work forward since 1976.

Ride4Dreams has been part of that story for 43 years. What began as a grassroots effort led by Joanne Perlich and friends has grown into LTRA’s largest annual fundraiser. In honour of our Golden Anniversary, we are going bigger and better than ever: two distinctive experiences over two days, brought together by one purpose—to keep life-changing therapeutic riding and equine wellness services accessible across Southern Alberta.

Held at Pavan Park, the Trail Ride invites participants to collect pledges and ride with purpose through the scenic southern Alberta landscape. This tradition remains at the heart of Ride4Dreams—celebrating community, connection, and the healing power of horses.

FUNDRAISING PURPOSE: WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS!

Every ticket, pledge, sponsorship, donation, and auction bid helps LTRA deliver inclusive therapeutic riding and equine wellness programs; care for our horses 365 days a year; maintain safe, accessible facilities; offer affordability support; and build a strong foundation for the next 50 years. However you take part, you are part of the impact!

For one night only, the LTRA Arena will be transformed into an intimate western concert venue for an unforgettable evening of music, food, celebration, and purpose. The 2026 Cabaret features two Alberta country artists—Chase Morgan and Brettyn Rose—performing together and separately throughout the night.

Come hungry for an upscale BBQ, stay for a spirited live auction, and then dance in the dirt as the music carries the celebration into the evening. With LTRA marking its 50th Anniversary, this year’s Cabaret is designed to be our most memorable yet.

Meet the Artists:

Chase Morgan

Born and raised in High River, Alberta, Chase Morgan is a country singer-songwriter who blends traditional country roots with contemporary life. His thoughtful lyricism, natural stage presence, and mix of classic and alternative-country influences make him a strong fit for a one-night-only Ride4Dreams performance.

Brettyn Rose

Okotoks, Alberta artist Brettyn Rose pairs honest lyrics and powerful vocals with an acoustic-rooted country sound and a little sparkle. In 2026, she was nominated by Country Music Alberta for Horizon Female Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year for “Wild West,” and was featured as a performer during the Country Music Alberta Awards.

• Individual Tickets | $85.00: Joining solo or bringing a few extra guests? Individual tickets are available for just $75 each, making it easy to be part of the Ride for Dreams Cabaret without purchasing a full table. Whether you’re coming with friends or flying solo, you’ll be right in the heart of the action for a night of great food, entertainment, and impact.

• Youth Tickets (13 and under) | $40.00

On Saturday, Ride4Dreams returns to the tradition at the heart of the fundraiser: a scenic group trail ride filled with community spirit, beautiful Southern Alberta landscapes, and purpose-driven fun. Riders collect pledges in support of LTRA, then saddle up together to ride for a reason.

Individuals and teams are welcome. Lunch will be provided, and prizes will be awarded to the top fundraising youth, individual, and team. Whether you ride, fundraise, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines, you can be part of a day that celebrates the healing power of horses and 50 years of LTRA impact.

💸 Fundraise & Ride

Riders and non-riders alike are invited to gather pledges in support of LTRA’s therapeutic programs.
🎟 Raise $200 or more in pledges & receive a complimentary ticket to the Ride4Dreams Cabaret happening the night before (Sept. 11th)!

📝 How to Participate

1. Register Online: Click the “Participate in a Fundraising Event” button at the top of the page and select “Participate in the Ride”.

2. Complete the Waiver: Required for all riders—available via the 'Rider Info Package” tab or digitally through the links below.

3. Download the Rider Info Package: Includes trail etiquette, directions and the printable pledge form.

Every dollar raised helps deliver life-changing services through LTRA’s equine programs.

Location & Directions to the Ride

The ride will be held at Pavan Park north of Lethbridge.  To get to the staging area from Lethbridge:

• Travel north out of Lethbridge on 13th Street North to the Pavan Park turn off

• The entrance to Pavan Park is 2.6 km north of 26th Avenue North

• Turn left into the entrance

• Take your first left directly after entering Pavan Park entrance (before going down the hill into the park) and you will see the staging area.

Ride4Dreams is LTRA’s largest annual fundraiser, and community sponsorship makes both event days possible. Your support helps cover event costs while directing more of the funds raised toward therapeutic riding, equine wellness programming, horse care, accessible infrastructure, and affordability support for participants.

In return, sponsors receive meaningful visibility across the Cabaret and Trail Ride, with recognition tailored to the sponsorship level. Join us in celebrating 50 years of impact—and help position LTRA to serve Southern Alberta for the next 50.
