Don’t be fooled by her petite frame—Pickles packs a whole lot of heart (and horsepower!) into 14 hands. Originally from a working ranch in Southern Alberta, she came to us by chance—or maybe fate—when she stepped in to calm a chaotic auction scene. Acting as an impromptu pickup horse among a pen of wild sale prospects, Pickles showed us her quiet confidence and steady presence before we even knew her name. A finished team roping heel horse in her past life, Pickles brings both grit and grace to our herd. She’s proven herself to be an honest, capable partner in the arena and out at community events. Once you catch her—she does love a good game of "hard to get" in the pasture—she melts into the softest, sweetest little mare you could ask for. We’re so lucky to have her, and we know our riders will be too. 💚
