Dixson

We are thrilled to welcome Dixson - named him in honour of a pivotal LTRA support whose generosity will have a positive impact on our organization for year to come - as the newest member to the LTRA herd! Dixson is a stunning 16-hand dark palomino Quarter Horse. At 18 years old, he brings a wealth of trail riding experience, making him a steady, reliable partner for our riders. Having spent most of his life outdoors, he’s encountered just about everything on the trail, building his confidence and calm demeanor. Adjusting to arena life has been a fun learning curve for Dixson—overhead doors and heaters were a bit puzzling at first, but he’s taking everything in stride! Now, he’s eagerly stepping into his new roles in therapeutic and adaptive riding lessons, where his gentle nature and solid foundation make him a perfect fit for our riders. With many great years ahead, we’re excited to see the impact Dixson will have at LTRA. Welcome to the team, Dixson! 💛🐴
