Through special events, contests, and stories of impact, we will reflect on where we’ve been, celebrate where we are, and look ahead to the future. Activity Descriptions

Horseshow

An Indoor horseshow is open to the public all day.

The following are times of notes related to Therapeutic Riding and LTRA’s 50th Anniversary:

Therapeutic Riding Demonstrations

11:30am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 1:30pm

Main Presentation

12:00pm – 1:00pm

Food and Drinks

BBQ beef burgers, vegetarian burgers, and hot dogs, with potato chips and assorted beverages are available at no cost to all in attendance. Gluten free buns available.

Face Painting

Face painting for the kiddos that will leave a lasting magical impression and create unforgettable photo opportunities.

Fun Zone

An entertainment hub for children of all ages featuring lawn games, a roping challenge, and a bouncy house.

Meet the Herd

Meet our program horses and speak with those who care for and work with our talented and healing equine stars.

Learning Centre

Learn about the 50-year history of LTRA through a revolving Power Point presentation featuring archival photos and facts, while speaking with individuals who have played a key role in that history.

As we celebrate 50 years of LTRA, we want to honour and celebrate the people, moments, and connections that have shaped our journey. Your story is part of that legacy. We invite riders, families, volunteers, partners, and community members to share how LTRA has influenced or impacted your life.

What You Can Share: A meaningful moment you experienced at LTRA | How LTRA has supported you personally or professionally | A photo of you in programs at LTRA or with your favorite horse | What community, connection, or healing through horses means to you | OR anything else you feel worthwhile that occurred at or because of LTRA.

Who Can Participate: LTRA members, participants, volunteers, families, community members & supporters

Incentive: All submissions are entered into a monthly random draw. Each month, one participant will be randomly selected to win a $50 Western Stockman gift card! The winner will be contacted directly.
